Did some Lab time with Ria today. She’s so funny. She’s very real. She doesn’t give a shit what people think of her. We practiced the NT suctioning and the trach care with trach suctioning. She went over Ear drop/ Eye drops/ anal and vaginal suppositories. I think we actually have to jam a suppository up the mannaquin’s va jay jay and anus.  Fun.  I need to watch the  videos for the ear/eye drop/ suppositiories proceedure and write out my NT suction procedure including critical elements.  Things that I would normally do (okay maybe skip a few steps) but don’t think about.  I have a couple of chapters to read and a case study and quiz to do in pharmacology tonight.
I hope to be done by tonight so I can do a little relaxing on Friday before going back to work on Saturday – Monday (when I will get nothing done)

We were there about 2 hours. ( I keep a log because if it comes up later that I don’t do well on something I don’t want them to say that I was never in the lab.)  Tried to go to the book store to buy an NCLEX-RN book but they said they only had them on west campus.  So I ordered one from Amazon.com.  $40 bucks it was.  We have been told that our exams will be in NCLEX-RN style so it would pay to review the NCLEX-RN review book.

Gotta get to work now since I decided to watch Glee this morning instead of read for school.  Bad me.  🙁
