Cooking with my Instant Pot

Cooking is fun again with my Instant Pot! I really really love it.  It’s the best gift I ever gave myself!  I have made several dishes with it and they have all been great.  I will share which ones I made and how they turned out.

Stuffed Cabbage

This was amazing.  It made so many stuffed cabbage rolls that we had left overs for days (It’s just me and my husband) I’d never even made Stuffed cabbage in the normal way so this was double the learning experience  I got the recipe from Girl and the Kitchen.  I especially loved the sauce made from Crushed tomatoes.  I also substituted pork and beef for the turkey and Chicken. Check out the recipe – Girl and the kitchen Instant Pot Stuffed Cabbage

Broccoli and Cheese Soup

This was the first soup I made in my instant pot.  I was inspired to make this because I had some broccoli and cheese soup at work and it was amazing!   I think i pureed it a little too much and it did add pre-made bacon pieces to add a little saltiness to the soup but it didn’t really add anything to it.  I would use fresh bacon in the future or leave it out entirely. (the recipe doesn’t call for it)  I also used Frozen Broccoli Floret’s that I got from Fresh Market.    I got the recipe from Whole Food Bellies.  See the recipe  It was delicious anyway!

Honey Sesame Chicken

This was the first dish I made with my instant Pot.   I thought, hey it’s easy and will taste good.  And it did.  I got the recipe from Six Sisters Stuff   It was so delicious and easy. You should try it!!

I even baked banana bread in my Instant pot.  It was quite dense and I don’t remember where I got the recipe but it was still delicious!
